PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation panel in an elevator car allowing the attachment and detachment of a rope from a rope locking part of a speed governor disposed at a car side face part without removing an operation panel case. SOLUTION: This operation panel in the elevator car is provided with a plate 10 with a plurality of seesaw switches 9 provided below an operation panel case 7 inserted and fastened into a cutout hole 4 formed in a side plate 3 of the car 1, and a cover 5 having a plate with a key or covering the cutout hole 4 and allowing the exposure of the disposed part of the seesaw switches 9. The opposed face of the cutout hole 4 is provided with a sliding door 13 opined/closed either upward or downward, and a stopper, i.e., a magnet 14, maintaining either opening or closing of the sliding door 13.
