PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurring of disordered winding when a rope type body is wrapped around a winch. SOLUTION: This winch device comprises a drum 13 capable of winding/ feeding the rope type body 14, a rope type body guide jig 20 threadedly engaged with a screw shaft 17 extending to a direction parallel with a shaft line L of the drum 13 such that the rope type body 14 wrapped around or fed from the drum 13 is guided, a rotary encoder 24 so as to detect a number of rotation n1 of the drum 13 and a sequencer 22 adapted to calculate a number of rotation n2 of the screw shaft 17 on the basis of the number of rotation n1 detected by the rotary encoder 24 for giving the number n2 to a drive device 19 as a command. A rope type body flow speed in a direction parallel with the drum shaft line L when the rope shape body 14 is wrapped around the drum 13 is synchronized with a feeding speed of the rope type body guide jig 20.
