PURPOSE: A reflective liquid crystal display is provided to form a protection film on a common electrode of a top substrate for realizing symmetrical capacitor at both top and bottom substrates, thereby evenly distributing electric fields in the liquid crystal for reducing flicker. CONSTITUTION: A reflective liquid crystal display includes a top substrate(40) formed with a cover glass(41), a common electrode(43) formed on the cover glass, a protection film(45) formed on the common electrode, and an orientation film(47) formed on the protection film, a bottom substrate(50) facing the top substrate and formed of a back plan assembled with a reflection plate(53) serving as pixel electrodes(53b), a protection film(55) formed on the reflection plate, and an orientation film(56) formed on the protection film, and liquid crystal(60) implanted between the top and bottom substrates.
