PURPOSE: A bottle cap is provided to effectively discharge gas generated within a bottle without opening the cap when contents received in the bottom generates the gas due to the variation of a temperature, and so on. CONSTITUTION: The bottle cap(14) separably coupled to an entrance(12) of a bottle(10) is provided with a helical portion(16) along the inner periphery thereof. A hole(18) is drilled at the center of a top surface of the bottle cap, into which a packing(20) is inserted. The packing has an incised part(24) formed on the plane, and a groove(22) formed along the outer periphery thereof. The incised part of the packing is designed to discharge only gas generated from the contents received in the bottle.
