METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OPERATION OF REFRIGERATOR

PURPOSE: A method for controlling operation of refrigerator is provided to prevent damage of compressor by controlling speed of the condenser fan and evaporator fan in accordance with the size of load during initial starting of refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step of judging whether a refrigerator is in over load state by measuring the size of load applied to the refrigerator upon starting of operation of refrigerator; a second step of raising the speed of a condenser fan installed in a machine room and lowering the speed of an evaporator fan installed in a freezing compartment so as to reduce the load of a compressor, if it is judged in the first step that the refrigerator is in over load state; and a third step of returning the speed of the condenser fan and evaporator fan to the state before the overload, if the over load state of refrigerator is resolved.
