PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and image forming method capable of preventing image flow and sufficiently prolonging the life of developers and the life of a blade according to the use history (use time, the number of image forming times, the deterioration of electrostatic charge characteristics, etc.), of a photoreceptor having a hard coating layer. SOLUTION: The image forming device having the organic photoreceptor having a resin layer containing a siloxane resin having a crosslinked structure as a surface layer, a temperature changing means for changing the temperature of the organic photoreceptor and a control means for controlling the operation of the temperature changing means according to the use history of the organic photoreceptor, and the image forming method using this image forming device are provided. |
