PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riser pipe for gas piping capable of simply, strongly and stably fixing a standing locating wire 20 laid on a riser resin pipe 6 in the state that a corrosion resistance and a water-proof are excellent and simply and conveniently carrying out a connection work with a transmitter. SOLUTION: The standing locating wire 20 is clamped between a protection pipe 8 made of metal and a thermal shrinkable tube 21 covering this protection pipe 8. An exposed upper end of a core wire 20a of the standing locating wire 20 is contacted and fixed onto an outer surface of the protection pipe 8. In the thermal shrinkable tube 21, at least upper end of a riser pipe coupling 7 is exposed from an upper end of the tube 21. A connection wire of the transmitter is connected to the riser pipe coupling 7 or the protection pipe 8 at the time of searching of an underground buried resin pipe 4.
