PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device adequate for identifying color of not only a glass bin or the like conveyed but also its fragments and recovering them. SOLUTION: The glass bin or the like G is conveyed by this conveying device 1 comprising a plurality of rubber made round belts 1a arranged in parallel at a constant interval. The glass bin or the like G conveyed by the conveying device 1 to a color identifying device 2 is irradiated by a high frequency fluorescent lamp 3 from below of the round belts 1a through a clearances among the round belts 1a, and an image of the glass bin is picked up by a CCD camera 4. This image pickup data is suitably processed by an image processing device of the color identifying device 2 and then compared with a previously stored reference data, and the glass bin or the like G is identified in color and finally recovered into a predetermined storing box.
