PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor structure for a concrete building, allowing an existing Japanese style room carpeted with tatami mats to be modified into a western style room's barrier-free floor undergoing wood flooring work, which reduces construction costs, shortens the term of work, has soundproofing properties equal or superior to a tatami floor, and is made suited to the inhabitation of an aged person by lessening a step between existing and new floor surfaces. SOLUTION: The floor structure for the concrete structure is characteristically composed of a floor joist 3 disposed on a concrete slab 2, a rough lumber 4 layer formed on the floor joist 3, a foamed plastic floor substrate material 5 layer formed on the rough lumber 4 layer, a bearing material 6 layer formed on the floor substrate material 5 layer, and a soundproofing floor covering material 7 layer formed on the bearing material 6 layer.
