PURPOSE: A system for recognizing a fingerprint by a computer diskette(or CD) is provided to make a user carry easily like a credit card and to maintain security by using a fingerprint for authentication, credit information, deposition, draw process of a bank and electric commerce. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a device recording a fingerprint to a diskette(or CD), a drive reading the diskette storing the fingerprint, a method transmitting the fingerprint from a client to a server, a device checking the fingerprint in the server, and a method approving the fingerprint in the server.
