Upper and lower sheets form two longitudinal surfaces conforming to inwardly curved air layer, with section lines thereof being curved. Sheets are equipped with plurality of slots extending inward of at least one of upper and lower sheets, arranged transverse to air layer and reaching longitudinal peripheral side edges. Hollow internal part of each embodiment of layer improves elasticity and shock-absorbing properties of layer for absorbing shocks by compressing and dissipating impact force and providing automatic recovery of hollow internal part to its initial configuration upon eliminating the source of impact force. Boot of such construction has improved curvature corresponding to that of foot upper surface. EFFECT: improved shock-absorbing properties and simplified construction. 13 cl, 12 dwg</p> |
