PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost and the assembling manhours of a throttle device and equalize the air flow of each bypass passage by setting a bypass valve to one. SOLUTION: This throttle device for the engine comprises a bypass passage inlet 31 communicating a bypass passage 30 with the upstream of first and second throttle valves of first and second intake passages, a valve element storage chamber 32 coaxial with the entrance 31, first and second upstream branch passages 36 and 37 extended from the valve element storage chamber 32, first and second downstream branch passages 63 and 65 communicating from the ends of the first and second upstream branch passages 36 and 37 to downstream of the first and second throttle valves of the first and second intake passages respectively, and the bypass valve 33 movably stored in the valve element storage chamber 32 and opening the first and second upstream branch passages 36 and 37 at the same opening. |
