PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a sample warper with a short feed belt capable of effectively reducing an increase of yarn tension which has been regarded as inevitable in warping, especially in warping of normal winding and a method for normal winding. SOLUTION: In this sample warper having one or plural yarn guides which are rotatably attached to the side of a warping drum and winds a yarn on plural conveyor belts moving in a fixed feed amount on a warping drum, plural leasing bars arranged mutually in parallel in the side of the warping drum in the longer direction and a creel on which bobbins are placed, a short feed belt is installed on the upper surface of a base end part at the yarn guide side of the warping guide and in parallel with the conveyor belt and the upper surface of the short feed belt is positioned in the outer direction than the upper surface of the conveyor belt and than the circumferential face around the center of the warping drum. After a yarn from the yarn guide is wound on the short feed belt and the yarn on the short feed belt is transferred to the conveyor belt to carry out warping.
