PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable resin composition which has high biodegradability and high strength and storage stability. SOLUTION: The biodegradable resin composition comprises a plant fine powder to be obtained by pulverizing a graminaceous plant and/or chlorella and a biodegradable resin, and the plant fine powder and/or the chlorella to be adopted has an average particle diameter of <=300μm and a content of fats and oils of <=5 wt.% and, at the same time, the content of the plant fine powder and/or the chlorella is 0.1-90 wt.% while that of the biodegradable resin is 99.9-10 wt.%.
