PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a joint of an adjacent part between plural liquid crystal(LC) panels in the case of arranging plural LC panels on a common surface and obtaining a falsely single display screen. SOLUTION: Plural LC panels PNL are adjacently arranged on the common surface, plural linear light sources CFL are arranged on the backs of plural LC panels, a bent part is formed like an L shape on one side near an electrode arranged on the end edge of the light emitting area of the linear light source CFL or both the sides are bent like a U shape and the bent parts are arranged facing each other on the joint part of the backs of both adjacent LC panels PNL.
