PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve the maintenance of an intricate drive system (including transporting rollers) without enhancing the accuracy of the transporting rollers more than needed. SOLUTION: Stable transportation can be maintained in an exposure section 30 in order to form a loop 104 on the upstream side of the exposure section 30 and to absorb a tension due to an uneven transporting speed transferred from the upstream side by the loop 104 in the exposure section 30 for which the transporting speed of high accuracy is needed. The grasping force of sheet photosensitive materials 20S by the tension absorption by this loop 104, more particularly exposure rollers 36 and 38 (gap G) and disturbance can be minimized.
