PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle provided with a position recognizing device capable of preventing collision with a wall, a column, a ceiling or the like when an elevation type transfer device is run in a warehouse or the like. SOLUTION: In this vehicle, plural laser irradiators 10a and 10b for irradiating linear laser beams L1 and L2 are installed, central light-rays L1c and L2c of the laser beams of the respective laser irradiators are arranged in parallel with the longitudinal center axis of the vehicle body 2, and the laser irradiators 10a and 10b are mounted rotatably by centering the central light-rays in a manner capable of intercrossing at least two of the laser beams with each other. The vehicle is provided with the position recognizing device allowing the positional relationship between a specific position of the vehicle and a certain object in the advancing direction of the vehicle to be visually recognized by using the mutual intercrossing position AO of the laser beams as a reference.
