PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact jig used advantageously for application of a pressure sensitive adhesive tape, and capable of positioning the tape stably and accurately by a simple operation using the versatile pressure sensitive adhesive tape, when the long adhesive tape is applied onto an applied body. SOLUTION: This jig for specifying a folding width when the adhesive tape is folded to be applied to the applied body includes a jig body, a pressure sensitive adhesive tape positioning member attached to the jig body to be faced to the adhesive tape before the application of the adhesive tape, and to be movable to a position where applying work therefor is not disturbed when the adhesive tape is applied, and a folding width specifying member attached to the tape positioning member to make a distance from the applied body satisfy the folding width, and to allow a side face end part of the adhesive tape to contact therewith at substantially right angle before the application of the adhesive tape.
