PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: To improve an elegance of outlook of a plasma display panel. CONSTITUTION: A backside panel with a plurality of the second electrodes is arranged opposite to a front side panel with a plurality of the first electrodes. A display area is formed at the area where the front side panel and the backside panel are opposing. A sealing member is arranged between the peripheral part of those panels, and both panels are stuck together with the sealing member. A rectangular shading member is arranged between the display area and the sealing member. As the backside panel becomes invisible from the front side panel side at the outside of display area by arranging the shading member inside the plasma display panel, the elegance of the outlook of the plasma display is improved.
