<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a pipe end closing device 1 to be easily fitted into a pipe P. SOLUTION: With a swing member 28 swung to an upper side against the force of an energizing means 30, the force is removed from the swing member 28 to swing the swing member 28 downward after a tube body 3 is fitted into the pipe P through an opening 29. By this, the pipe P can be held by the edge part 29a of the opening 29 on the free end side of the swing member 28 and the edge part 29b of the opening 29 on the pivot shaft 24 side of the swing member 28.</p> |
