<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which reduces the energy consumption and warm-up time of a fixing device and which has sufficient low temperature fixing property. SOLUTION: The toner is used for the image forming method by which an image is formed on a recording material by using a heating and pressurizing means having at least (1) a magnetic field generating means, (2) a rotary heating member having at least a heat generating layer which generates heat by electromagnetic induction and a release layer and (3) a rotary pressurizing member forming a nip with the rotary heating member, and by heating and fixing a toner image on the recording material while pressing the rotary heating member through the recording material by the rotary pressurizing member. The toner is made of a composition containing at least a binder resin and coloring agent. The binder resin of the toner composition is polyester resin having <10 mass% THF insoluble content and 1 to 100 mgKOH/g acid value, and the melt viscosity of the toner is 120 deg.C ranges from 1×103 to 5×105 Pa.s.</p> |
