PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a power transmission making no direct input of rotation to a shift mechanism part from the driving wheel side and deteriorating no durability by operation in an oil free state even if traction is performed at engine stopping time in the power transmission having an automatic transmission. SOLUTION: In this control device of a driving force transmission having a select position detecting means 4 for detecting a select position of a shift stage of a sub-transmission selected by a driver and a switching means 48 for switching the shift stage of the sub-transmission on the basis of a detecting result of the select position detecting means 4, an engine stopping state detecting means 3 is arranged for detecting an engine stopping state, and a neutral judging means 2 is arranged for outputting a signal for setting the sub-transmission in a neutral position to the switching means 48 regardless the select position selected by the driver when detecting the engine stopping state by the engine stopping state detecting means 3.
