PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-proofing roller capable of minimizing a flat spot generating at the portion of the roller pressed against a mating member, even if that portion is kept pressed against the mating member over a long time. SOLUTION: A rigid ring 13 is coaxially and integrally embedded into an annular elastic member 12 and the outer peripheral surface 13a of the rigid ring 13 is brought close to the outer peripheral rolling surface 14 of the elastic member 12, whereby the portion of the elastic member 12 located on the outer periphery of the ring 13 has its wall thickness t2 reduced to reduce the radial deflection thereof. Thus, even if the same portion of the outer peripheral rolling surface 14 is kept pressed against a mating member C over a long time, a flat spot generating there can be minimized. Since the support part 17 of the elastic member 12 located on the inner periphery of the ring 13 permits radial displacement of the ring 13, the vibration-proofing function of the roller is not impaired.
