PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion resisting roll which is effective for the reduction of the total cost in operating rolls on an actual machine scale and particularly suitable for use as a conductor roll in an equipment for electroplating such as for tinning because a dense film layer having excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance and free from bents, or the like, caused by the falling of WC due to binder elution can be maintained over a long period and a cycle consisting of polishing of the surface of the film and reuse can be repeated three or more times. SOLUTION: The corrosion resisting roll has, on its surface, a film layer formed by thermally spraying a powder mixture having a composition consisting of WC-Ni cermet and the balance of an Ni-base self-fluxing alloy and then carrying out remelting treatment.
