PURPOSE: A process of preparing an agent for improving storability of mixed cereal grains by mixing ground hard charcoal with mineral and garlic extracts is provided. Whereby, the agent has a foreign material absorbing and deodorizing action and extends the preservation period of mixed cereal grains. CONSTITUTION: Hard charcoal is ground to a size of 0.01 to 0.03dm and mineral and garlic extracts are sprayed to the hard charcoal powder to mix charcoal, mineral and garlic extracts in a ratio of 10:2:1. The obtained mixture is packed in the shape of a tea bag.
