PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly output a permission signal or a nonpermission signal on engine operation to a second control unit for engine operation control from a first control unit. SOLUTION: The first control unit U1 for theft preventive control collates a first code attached to a key inserted into an IG switch IGS with a second code stored in an EEPROM 12, and stores coincidence or noncoincidence as a collation result in a B/URAM 13. The first control unit U1 outputs the permission signal or the nonpermission signal of engine operation to the second control unit U2 according to the stored collation result. The first code and the second code are collated with every prescribed period, and even if a vehicle is made to illicitly travel once by storing and renewing the collation result, travel can be stopped by collation with every prescribed period. |
