PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reception performance of a radio controlled watch. SOLUTION: A reference clock begins to be counted on detecting a pulse signal of a 40 kHz standard radio wave rising and if a fall is detected within 0.05 second, it is regarded as noise and ignored. A pulse which lasts for >=0.5 second is taken in a time data pulse and a gate circuit 3 of a reception part is closed. The gate circuit 3 is opened 0.9 second after the clock begins to be counted and a next rise of the pulse is expected. The gate circuit is opened according to the pulse frequency (1Hz) of the standard radio wave and after one time data pulse is taken in, the gate circuit is closed until next one second start, thereby eliminating mixed noise between pulses. |
