PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an organic near infrared luminescent material. SOLUTION: This near infrared luminescent material comprises a bimolecular solid film in which a porphyrin part and a fullerene part as a mixture of a porphyrin and a fullerene or a compound containing a porphyrin ring and a fullerene group in the same molecule form a charge transfer state or a film constituted of the mixture or the compound and an LB film forming matrix.
