PURPOSE: A traverse force sensor insensitive to bending moment and torsion moment is provided to secure bridge signal without error for various load. CONSTITUTION: Strain detective resistors(R1,R2,R3,R4) of a first bridge circuit are placed on a circular element(1) and the resistors(R1,R3) of a first bridge arm are placed perpendicularly with the resistors(R2,R4) of a second bridge arm, respectively, so that the resistors are placed on a surface(8) of the circular element to surround the circular opening(3) formed on the surface of the circular element and the first bridge circuit is arranged on a place dependent only on traverse force.
