METHOD OF DRIVING COIL, DEVICE OF DRIVING COIL, AND MRI DEVICE

PURPOSE: A coil driving method, a coil driving apparatus and an MRI(Magnetic Resonance Imaging) apparatus are provided to maintain constantly sensitivity even if samples to be inserted between a coil on one side and a coil on the other side, both of which are opposed to each other, are different in body frame. CONSTITUTION: Prescanning is done when a subject gets in a space between an upper coil(5A) and a lower coil(5B). A reflected wave is detected by a directional coupler(24). An attenuator(23) is adjusted by a part(25-1) for comparing and controlling to equalize the voltage of the reflected waves from each of the coils. Then scanning is done. As a magnetic field produced by an upper coil(5A) is equalized with the magnetic field produced by a lower coil(5B) despite of the different body build and a position of the subject, unevenness in sensitivity is prevented.
