PURPOSE: A method for refining austenitic stainless molten steel containing a high chromium content is provided which improves cleanliness of the molten steel by preventing mixing of slag inclusions during agitation of the stainless molten steel containing a high chromium content. CONSTITUTION: The method for refining austenitic stainless molten steel containing a high chromium content comprises a decarburization step of decarburizing the molten steel in an AOD(argon oxygen decarburization) refining furnace; a deoxidization step of deoxidizing the decarburized molten steel; a bubbling step of performing agitation by bottom bubbling the deoxidized molten steel using an inert gas in a VOD(vacuum oxygen degassing) refining furnace; and an agitation step of agitating the bubbling treated molten steel under the atmospheric pressure, wherein a degree of vacuum and an agitation strength in the VOD(vacuum oxygen degassing) refining furnace are 10 to 50 mb and 10 to 20 watt/ton respectively, and an agitation strength agitating the bubbling treated molten steel under the atmospheric pressure is 10 to 20 watt/ton.
