PURPOSE: A wire knot forming machine is provided to achieve objects of solid assembling of a cover, reduction of assembling time of the cover and working manpower and prevention of safety accidents by automatically winding the end part of a cover net on a cover frame forming a cover of a gabion. CONSTITUTION: The wire knot forming machine comprises a table(110) equipped with a plurality of position fixing protrusions at the inner and outer sides of which a cover frame(102) forming a cover and a cover net are fixed respectively; a plurality of winding members equipped with winding gears(122), a central axis(124) which is horizontally projected from the center of the winding gears(122), a first bracket(130) which is installed on the table(110) by rotationally holding the central axis(124), an insertion groove which is formed from the outer circumferential surface of the winding gears(122), the central axis(124) and the first bracket(130) to the rotation center, and into which the cover frame(102) can be inserted, and an eccentric axis(128) which is formed at one side of the central axis(124); a motor(160) installed at the table(110); a power transmission member consisting of a gear having a large diameter(142) fixed to an axis of the motor(160), a plurality of gears having a small diameter(148) one of which is in gear with the gear having a large diameter(142), and all of which are in gear with the winding gears(122), a rotation axis to which each of the gears having a small diameter(148) are axially supported, and a plurality of second brackets(150) which rotationally fixes the rotation axis to the table(110); a control circuit part controlling the number of revolutions and forward and reverse rotation of the motor(160); an operating switch impressing forward rotation signals of the motor(160) to the control circuit part; and a reverse rotation switch impressing reverse rotation signals of the motor(160) to the control circuit part.
