摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain excellent display quality in an active matrix liquid crystal display device with a built-in driving circuit on an electrode substrate by improving image persistence caused by blue light or light in an ultraviolet rays region irradiating a black color filter. SOLUTION: A light shielding layer 106 provided with a function to absorb the blue light or the light in the ultraviolet rays region contained in light from a light source is formed on a peripheral picture frame region 102c of a glass substrate 101 so as to overlap with a part of the black color filter 107 in plane therewith.
