PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for manufacturing a polarizing film made of an LLC(lyotropic liquid crystal) composed of an organic compound on a substrate. SOLUTION: A production engineering line for manufacturing the polarizer is provided with at least a device for forming the polarizer out of the LLC of at least one organic compound, at least a device for locally removing a polarizer material obtained from the LLC of at least one organic compound, at least a substrate holder and at least a means of related operation. At least one device for forming the polarizer out of the LLC of at least one organic compound and at least one device for locally removing the polarizer material obtained from the LLC of at least one organic compound are disclosed. |
