<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide fiber that has high strength, high strength retention after weaving or knitting, dyeing and heat setting, and high dimensional stability, and therefore can give a fabric of high strength, and further has excellent processability because of the high dyeability and color fastness to washing. SOLUTION: The objective polyamide fiber characteristically has a relative viscosity of >=2.8 in sulfuric acid, includes 0.001-1.0 wt.% of an additive composition including an additive that has the effect of inhibiting the deterioration of polyamide, has a strength of >=6.2 cN/dT at break, a boiling water shrinkage of <=18%, a breaking energy of >=15 mJ/dT, a crystallinity of <=35% and an optical birefringence of 0.030-0.045.</p> |
