摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for removing a solvent capable of producing polymer particles having a true spherical shape, surface smoothness and a narrow particle size distribution with high productivity, and a method for producing the polymer particles using the apparatus for removing the solvent. SOLUTION: This apparatus for removing the solvent is capable of removing the solvent from a solvent suspension 8 obtained by mixing an oily phase comprising a polymer dissolved in the solvent with an aqueous phase and is characterized in that the apparatus for removing the solvent is equipped with at least plural liquid contact members 1 repetitively carrying out movement in the liquid phase and in the vapor phase 7 by rotation in a container 12 capable of housing the solvent suspension 8 and a rotating member 2 capable of rotating the liquid contact members 1 and is capable of removing the solvent in the solvent suspension 8 sticking to the liquid contact members 1 by rotating the liquid contact members 1. The method for producing the polymer particles is characterized by adjusting the outermost peripheral speed of the liquid contact members 1 in the apparatus for removing the solvent to 0.05-3 m/s and removing the solvent from the solvent suspension 8.</p>
