APPARATUS FOR GASIFYING BIOMASS AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING METHANOL EQUIPPED WITH APPARATUS FOR GASIFYING BIOMASS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply controllable apparatus for gasifying a biomass without requiring the dividing of the biomass into fine particles and an apparatus for producing methanol equipped with the apparatus for gasifying the biomass. SOLUTION: The apparatus for gasifying the biomass is capable of respectively carrying out mutually contrary exothermic reaction of the biomass and endothermic reaction of the biomass in each of a combustion space 3 separated from a gasifying space 4. Thereby, it is not necessary to divide the biomass into the fine particles (in the order of several tens ofμm) for rapidly causing the mutually contrary exothermic reaction and the endothermic reaction. For example, the size of the biomass particles for gasification in the order of several mm is sufficient. Since the mutually contrary exothermic reaction of the biomass and the endothermic reaction of the biomass can individually be controlled, the control is simple.
