PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device for a digital color copying machine which is capable of preventing the spilling down of waste toners to the outside of a cleaning device body by the flowing defect of the toners in mid-way of a transporting path. SOLUTION: This cleaning device has a cleaning blade 41 for removing the waste toners remaining on a rotating boy drum 3 and a transporting means 42 for transporting the waste toners removed by the same. The transporting means is provided with a spiral screw 43 for transporting the waste toners from the upstream to the downstream of the transporting path in the transporting path of the waste toners and an auxiliary member 44 for assisting the transportation of the fibrous materials mingled in the waste toners on the downstream side in the transporting direction of the spiral screw to the downstream side. The auxiliary member is so mounted that brushes 44b, etc., exist along the screw surfaces on the downstream side in the transporting direction of the spiral screw within the transporting path. The tips of the respective brushes are respectively made contactless with the surface of the photoreceptor drum and a toner receiving member 46. |
