PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an oil rise quantity without providing a special part for reducing the oil rise quantity, in a hermetic rotary compressor. SOLUTION: In this high-pressure shell type hermetic rotary compressor, the inside of a hermetic vessel 1 sealed with a refrigerating machine oil is installed with a compression mechanism part 2 compressing HFC refrigerant gas, and an electric element part 4 driving the compression mechanism part 2. A conduit 14 for the refrigerating machine oil formed inside a crankshaft 5 constituting the compression mechanism part 2 is communicatively formed with a vent-hole 6 with an opening inside a counter bore 7 of a rotor 3a of the electric element part 4, which is coaxially fixed to the crankshaft 5. Thereby, the inner wall face of the counter bore 7 exerts an oil separating effect.
