PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for stopping the opening of a door more than the stopping of the opening of the door by adjusting a section between the opened door and a door frame. SOLUTION: When opening is stopped by the teeth of a gear body (5) in a latch (3) but the opening is insufficient, the teeth of the gear body (5) and the latch are not engaged mutually and the door can be moved up to the position of the opening of the door as desired when a handle (a) on the inside of the door is grasped by a hand. When the hand is detached from the handle (a), the latch is engaged with the teeth of the gear body by the force a spring (4), the door is not opened more than that, and a passenger can leave from a car without anxiety.
