Automatic clutch control as a function of brake signal

The automatic clutch control allows the clutch (7) between the IC engine (6) and the gearbox (8) to be controlled in dependence on the vehicle braking during the creep phase or starting-off phase, with full opening of the clutch when a given braking effect is provided. The clutch is operated with a variable slip when the vehicle velocity and/or the engine revs is below a given value, for limiting the torque transmitted, with detection of the braking effect by an analogue sensor (10), for reducing the delivered torque for driving the wheels (1) upon the braking being increased.
