PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and shutting mechanism of a cover body capable of realizing an excellent operation feeling in the case the cover body is opened and shut. SOLUTION: In an opening state of the cover body 24, first and second supporting points P1 and P2 are so arranged that a straight line L1 connecting the first supporting point P1 connecting a slider 32 to a connecting arm 64 to the second supporting point P2 connecting the upper end of the cover body 24 to the connecting arm 64 is crossed with a moving line L2 of the slider 32. Then, the second supporting point P2 is placed upward from the moving line L2 of the slider 32 at a predetermined distance. An angle θ made with the straight line L1 connecting the first supporting point P1 to the second supporting point P2 and a straight line L3 connecting the rotational center P3 of the cover body 24 to the second supporting point P2 is set within a range of 115 deg. to 125 deg..
