PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accurate lens barrel device which is easily assembled and where the off center of a frame member is small little. SOLUTION: This zoom lens barrel which is a lens barrel device is provided with a 2nd group guide frame 9 driven to advance/retreat by the cam follower 10a of a G frame coupling ring 10 engaged in the cam groove of a cam ring, and the guide frame 9 is guided to advance straight by a 2nd group frame 7, and the coupling ring 10 and the guide frame 9 are supported in an integrated state in the direction of an optical axis O via an outer peripheral groove 9a and in a suspended state in a direction orthogonal to the optical axis O. Even if the coupling ring 10 and the guide frame 9 are supported simultaneously by the cam ring and the frame 7 in an accurately fit state in a peripheral direction, the off center of the guide frame 9 with other frame member will not be caused and the advance/retreat movement thereof is performed smoothly.
