PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold preservation ease having a construction allowing a cold preservation object matter and a cold source such as cold preserving agent or the like to be easily housed in such a manner as to keep the object matter in a desirably cold-preserved state. SOLUTION: A cold preservation compartment 7 for housing the cold preservation object matter 2 and cold housing parts 13 and 14 for retrievably housing and holding the cold sources 11 and 12 are provided independently from each other in an adjoining state, and the cold housing part 14 is provided in an open/close lid 4. An housing opening 14a of the housing part 14 of the lid 4 and a housing opening 13a of the housing part 13 can be closed with a common lid 5 in a state that the lid 4 is closed.
