PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide spectacles provided with a structural member consisting of a metallic material having more excellent corrosion resistance than heretofore, and to obtain the metallic material for the spectacles. SOLUTION: The spectacles are provided with a structural member consisting of a metallic material essentially consisting of Ag, containing, by weight, 0.1 to 4.9% Pd and containing one or plural elements selected from the groups consisting of Al, Au, Pt, Cu, Ta, Cr, Ti, Co and Si by 0.1 to 4.9% in total.
