PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce powder for ornament in which Ni content is decreased and accordingly the possibility of causing Ni allergy is removed, and further, sintering can be done at low compacting pressure and low sintering temperature and excellent corrosion resistance can be provided. SOLUTION: Powder A having <=250μm powder particle size and 50-150μm average particle size and powder B having <=25μm average particle size, each having a composition consisting of, by weight, 0.5-2.0% Si, <=1.0% Mn, 18-34% Cr, 1-7% Mo, <=0.30% Ni and the balance Fe, are used. The powder for ornament can be obtained by granulating a material consisting of a powder mixture of >0-85 wt.% of the powder A and 15-<100 wt.% of the powder B or a material consisting of the powder B alone while adding a binder.
