PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cut paper exhibiting good traveling property in a copying machine, printer, printing machine, etc., good traveling property, especially, under high moisture, having high gloss of white paper suitable for obtaining high image quality and especially suitable for transfer paper for photography. SOLUTION: This cut paper is provided with a coated layer containing pigment and an adhesive on both sides of a substrate and has >=50% glossiness (according to JIS P-8142, in 75 deg. white glossiness). The cut paper is characterized in that frictional coefficient A (measured according to J TAPPI No.30) between papers in 35% RH at 22 deg.C and frictional coefficient B (measured according to J TAPPI No.30) between papers in 65% RH at 25 deg.C satisfy the following formulas: B-A<=0.35, A<=0.7 and B<=0.7.
