PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pump structure capable of miniaturizing and lightening the whole device and improving the pumping efficiency by solving problems that when a relief valve is integrated with a cover of the oil pump, the cover is enlarged, which causes the enlargement and the increase of a weight of the pump structure, and when the oil is relieved from the relief valve to an oil tank or the like, the pumping efficiency is lowered. SOLUTION: The oil pump 18 is composed of a body part 30, a base 31 and the pump cover 32, and a rotor rotating shaft 33 is mounted to form a main pump 38 and a sub-pump 39. The oil pump 18 is joined and mounted on a wall face of a thick part 26 of a crank case 16, a relief valve chamber 60 is mounted in parallel with the rotor rotating shaft 33 in the thick part 26, and the relief valve 61 is accommodated in the relief valve chamber 60 in parallel with the rotor rotating shaft 33. A circumferential space 66 in the relief valve chamber 60 is directly connected to a suction port 40 of the oil pump 18.
