<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiographic image processing method and apparatus capable of accurately recognizing the interconnected condition of a plurality of partial radiographic images and automatically obtaining coupled radiographic images when digital long-size photography is carried out using a plurality of stimulable phosphor detectors. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes an image information input means 10 for inputting a plurality of partial radiographic images produced by radiation transmitted through the same subject of imaging, and also inputting image attribute information corresponding to the plurality of partial radiographic images; a recognition means 30 for recognizing the interconnected condition of the plurality of partial radiographic images during image formation by analyzing the image signal value of each partial radiographic image; and a coupling means 70 for producing the coupled radiographic images which express the entire subject, by coupling the plurality of partial radiographic images together according to the recognized interconnected condition of the partial radiographic images.</p> |
