PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article cutter transfer body while placing it on a for cutting a long bag-like article to a fixed size, which can be used without replacing the transfer body even if the cut size of the article is changed. SOLUTION: A number of transfer bodies 6 are supported at intervals. A conveying means 1 for placing the bar-like articles b thereon by the plural transfer bodies 6 and conveying the same is traveled by a driving means 2, and a cutting means 3 for cutting the articles to fixed dimensions is provided in the direction perpendicular to the conveying direction in the midway of conveying the article near the conveying means 1. A control means 4 for controlling the cut length of the article b on the transfer body 6 is connected to the cutting means.
